Heather Stewart Whyte
Heather Stewart-Whyte got her first modelling job by replying to an ad by Elite Model Management at age 17 after becoming a nanny. She did not begin modelling full-time until age 21. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Heather performed runway shows for Versace, Armani, Saint-Laurent and Lagerfeld. She also modeled for Victoria’s Secret, Christian Dior, and Maybelline. Heather also landed magazine covers such as back-to-back September Vogue Paris in 1991 and 1992, and the British and Italian editions of both Elle and Marie Claire and French Elle.
More recently Heather inspires people with her health, beauty and mindset editorials. So we are so excited to have her on board with us here at MilliOnAir.
BEAUTY FROM WITHIN
”There are so many things we can do to look and feel good and I will be covering every part of the body from head to toe in the upcoming issues of this fabulous online magazine. I will also look within.”
A negative mind, Will never give you a positive life.
Beware the voice of self criticism!
We all do it, how much is the concern. Check in with your thoughts, write down how many times you inflict a negative thought on yourself, ask friends or family to point out to you when you openly put yourself down. By getting people close to you involved you can all help each other by encouraging one another to swap out a negative thought for a positive one. Honestly they’ll be enough people out there spreading negativity through criticism for us , no need to do it to ourselves !
Breathing correctly is not only key for living longer, it can also improve your mood and keep you performing at your best. Here are just a few things correct breathing has done for me…
Release tension
Massages organs
Strengthens the immune system
Improves posture
Increases digestion and assimilation of food
Boosts energy levels
Improves cellular regeneration
How to breathe properly:
You need to breathe deeply into your abdomen – not just your chest Also your shoulders should not be moving.
Inhale through your nose, expanding your belly then fill your chest.
Hold for 3 or 4 seconds.
Exhale fully from a slightly parted mouth until you feel you’ve got all the air out.
It normally takes 5 seconds to fill your lungs and 5 seconds to empty them.
Try and do this for 2 mins 4 times a day, you will feel immediate improvements within yourself e.g. focus, mood and relaxation.
Give your brain a treat and your mind will thank you for it!
Nuts and seeds; A small handful of walnuts, almonds and brazil nuts as a snack has been shown to create higher levels of serotonin ( researchers from the university of Barcelona discovered this result). Also, eating these just one once a day may help reduce blood pressure and blood sugar.
Flaxseed ; Rich in magnesium and B-vitamins, also a great source of omega-3. These all help combat stress.
Avocado ; Rich in potassium, amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.
Salmon; Wild Salmon is better than farmed salmon simply because they eat a natural diet, its also healthier for the environment. Its rich in omega-3 fatty acids, a great source of protein, high in B3,B5,B6,B12. Its a good source of potassium and selenium. Not just good for your brain, but heart , skin and hair as well
Dark chocolate; It has powerful antioxidant properties, natural stimulants such as caffeine, which enhances focus and concentration and stimulates the production of endorphins, which can help improve mood. Two or three pieces is plenty, eating a whole bar regularly will only help your waistline to increase!
Blueberries, green tea and pomegranate juice are all helpful too.
