Here at Millionair Magazine we like to make sure that we’re bringing you not just the designers that you love, but the hottest emerging talent from across the globe. That leads us to Central Saint martins graduate Rui Deng and the eponymous label created as an ode to Dutch artist Hieronymous Bosch.
Fashion often collides with art, and the decadence and challenging of norms in fashion is the perfect industry for a play on the themes of sin and morality that were the bedrock of inspiration for one of the 20th Centuries most influential artists, with a legacy transposed from painting to, sci-fi, film, fashion and other creative outlets.
The label itself is formed around the concepts of a futuristic cultural exploration that wowed crowds during the most recent London Fashion Week presentations with its dark themes and carefully conjured mystique. Fashion is at it’s best and most creative when it plays with the themes at the edge of our main views, the elements we see only in the very widest peripheral vision, and RuiRui Deng is working very cleverly in those spaces.
After such an interesting and creative start, the label is definitely one of the emerging designers you need to keep on your radar.
